Its offical. Tigers Back! his Website confirmed yesterday evening that Woods will be returning after a 7 month layoff after Knee Surgery, to the Field at the WGC Accenture Match Play Championship, next weekend in Arizona.
What does this mean for the Game of Golf?
well for one thing, it gives all those sports shows, espically The Golf Channel something to talk about. (I saw 5 Commericals for next Weekends Tourney that featured Tiger and Samual L. Jackson within 30 minutes of his announcement). Also, it gives all the players a little boost. Im sure the field next week will be more focused knowing the best player ever to play the game will be in the field aswell.
and Lastly, for my hopes...I won't have to see the name Mickelson on top of a leader board!
We all know how poorly Phil's record is when Tigers around!
